the art of Do-Jing, Leeds

my final major project "the art of DO-Jing" examined Japanese carpentry and meditation in the context of performance. "Jing" is borrowed from the Chinese language and translates as "energy". My performance examined the energy embedded within objects of use and how that energy is released when using them, in the context of daily life activities.
